Asgar Ali is a photographer, filmmaker and materials engineer based in Philadelphia. He was born and raised in Bangladesh in the crowded city of Chittagong. From a young age, Asgar was drawn to people watching and telling their stories through unique, and compelling photographs. Asgar’s photos use natural light as a nod to his time spent playing in the sun as a child.
Asgar is currently a 4th year Materials Engineering student at Lehigh University. He is passionate about sustainability as it pertains to food and agriculture as well as plastics.
